Beautiful luxury accommodation in 14 elegant, air-conditioned chalets leads directly down to the beach from glorious private decks furnished with welcoming day beds. Dugong Beach Lodge is so remote that power is generated from both solar and generator sources and these remain functional until guests retire to bed. Arrival and departure at Dugong Beach Lodge are tide dependent so be aware that boat transfers from Vilanculos to Dugong Beach Lodge take 30-40 minutes (depending on the tide) – be ready to wade into the water up to your knees! This boat ride is packed with breathtaking scenery and the sighting of dolphins, whales and turtles if lucky.
