Kubu Lodge Overview

Kubu Lodge is privately owned and the restaurant offers excellent food of European and African origin. Diners sit up high looking out over the Chobe River which enhances their every bite or eat under the night sky on the restaurant deck. Seek out the private boma for romantic events or the traditional braai (barbeque) facilities. Special dietary requirements are always taken into consideration – just ask.
Kubu Lodge is unique because it boasts a Biodiversity Centre complete with the country’s largest concentration of indigenous snakes – not for the faint-hearted! Sit in the sunny summer house with a book chosen from the well-stocked library while birds flit and animals stroll.
A gift shop, health and beauty salon and lovely out-of-the-way swimming pool all contribute to a rewarding Botswana Safari. A 2km Nature Trail meanders through incredible riverine habitat along the Chobe River.
People come to Chobe for its huge herds of elephant and buffalo, not to mention the antelope species and zebra. It is a bustling place and professional guides host guests on wonderful game drives into Chobe National Park or boat trips to absorb the spirit of Chobe River.
