See the enthralling spray billowing off the mighty Victoria Falls from every window and every private deck at the sensational Stanley Safari Lodge, one of Voyage2Africa’s best-selling Livingstone hotels in Zambia. Find this elegant and luxurious tented camp just outside Livingstone on a hillock bordering the Victoria Falls National Park, with superb views of the wilderness and only 3 km from the Zambezi River and the Falls itself. Stanley Safari Lodge provides the most splendid setting for honeymoon retreats and family holidays with fun-filled Zambia safaris and adventures at Victoria Falls.
Also known as “Mosi-oa-Tunya”, (the Smoke that Thunders) in the local language, Victoria Falls is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Stanley Safari Lodge is our top recommendation for accommodation close enough to the white water to see its spray and hear its thunder. From atop its small hill, this safari lodge is named after the famous explorer and every guest feels just like an explorer when standing elevated on the main deck and viewing the jaw-dropping vistas. Watch the Zambezi River swirling past and the red African sun setting into the bush.
Stay in one of 10 teak and stone chalets with open fronts and tiled floors individually decorated to reflect something from Zambia and this region. Four of these luxury rooms are suites featuring private decks with plunge pools, lounges, baths and separate showers. Families and honeymoon couples can choose the open suites to be fully integrated into the sights and sounds of the Zambian wilderness and the great river, while the Livingstone and Stanley Suites are closed and decorated in true colonial style.
Six cottages (Baobab, Birds Room, Zambezi View, Mukuni, Mosi oa Tunya and Victoria) offer traditional safari décor and natural materials and are all open to nature except for Baobab. They all boast a bath and shower with plenty of special facilities as mentioned and gorgeous private deck outlooks over the verdant Zambezi Valley. Voyage2Africa promises super deals on all accommodation to Stanley Safari Lodge including meals and drinks, game-viewing activities and more.
