Experience the Masai Mara National Reserve that is world-renowned for Big Five sightings and the Serengeti National Park with its vast plains that support thousands of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle and the predators that follow in their wake. The Ngorongoro Crater is packed with animals and offers sweeping views from its rim and Lake Manyara with the Great Rift Valley Escarpment. The safari ends at Amboseli National Park, which is set against the magnificent backdrop of Africa’s highest mountain, Kilimanjaro.

Day 1:Nairobi

TRANSFER TO NAIROBI HOTEL
At Nairobi Airport (Jomo Kenyatta International Airport), you will be met by our Kenya Predators Safari representative. He will assist you with your luggage and drive to your hotel in Nairobi City, brief you on your itinerary and help you with your check-in at your hotel.

Overnight at Sarova Panafric Hotel.

Day 2 & 3:Lake Naivasha & Lake Nakuru

DAY 2:

LAKE NAIVASHA NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, you will receive a safari briefing before your East Africa safari start. We will spend some time in Nairobi where we visit the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage and the Giraffe Centre (which protects the highly endangered Rothschild’s giraffe’s). We will end the tour with a visit to the Karen Blixen Museum. Enjoy lunch in Nairobi before we drive through the Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha.

DAY 3:

LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru National Park where you will enjoy a full day game drive. Situated the floor of the Great Rift Valley, surrounded by wooded and bushy grassland, lies the beautiful Lake Nakuru National Park. The park is fenced off as a sanctuary to protect the highly endangered Rothschild giraffes as well as both black and white rhinos. Drive back to Lake Naivasha for overnight.

Day 4 & 5:Masai Mara National Reserve

DAY 4:

MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

Enjoy a boat excursion (at an extra cost of US$35.00 per person) on Lake Naivasha, which is the highest and most beautiful lake in the Rift Valley. We depart from the lake area and drive through the Rift Valley to the Masai Mara National Reserve, followed by an afternoon game drive in the park.

DAY 5:

MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

Enjoy a full day in the Masai Mara National Reserve. With a bit of luck, you will see some of the “big five.” The great diversity of species present in this area is impressive. The Masai Mara has the highest concentration of land mammals compared to all other parks!

Day 6 & 7:Tanzania - Serengeti National Park

DAY 6:

SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast drive from the Masai Mara to the Kenya/Tanzania border at Isebenia/Sirari. Enter the Serengeti National Park through the Ndabaka Park gate in Western Serengeti and enjoy en-route game drives to the lodge. Arrive late afternoon in the Central Serengeti with herds of animals running across vast open spaces and predators hunting their prey.

DAY 7:

SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Enjoy a full day game drive in the Serengeti National Park with a picnic lunch box. Relax and enjoy the vast beauty that Africa has to offer. The Serengeti is one of the few places in Africa where game sanctuaries have remained completely unspoiled.

Day 8:Ngorongoro Crater

NGORONGORO CRATER
Enjoy a morning en-route game drive to the park gate followed by a picnic lunch before heading to Ngorongoro Crater. After bidding the Serengeti farewell, you will visit Olduvai Gorge, a famous archaeological site. En-route to Ngorongoro, you can opt to visit a Maasai village near the crater (US$35 per person).

Day 9 & 10:Lake Manyara National Park

DAY 9:

LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, descend 600 m into the magnificent crater for game drives in the Ngorongoro Crater. Witness an unforgettable spectacle of African wildlife – a world teeming with animals. The park sustains a wide variety of animals, including the black rhino, with its year-round water supply and fodder. Later in the afternoon, you will ascend to the crater rim and drive to Lake Manyara.

DAY 10:

LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, drive down into the Rift Valley on the way to Lake Manyara National Park followed by full day game drives with a picnic lunch. The mosaic of the Park’s different habitats is easily seen: the rift wall, the ground water forest, acacia woodlands, open grassland, the lake shore, swamp and the lake itself.

Day 11:Kenya - Amboseli National Park

AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, proceed to Arusha city (the central point of the Cape to Cairo route) and enjoy your picnic lunch. Continue to Amboseli National Park, crossing and clearing customs at the Tanzania/Kenya border of Namanga. Enter Kenya and proceed to Amboseli National Park.

Day 12:Amboseli National Park - Nairobi

AMBOSELI – NAIROBI

Amboseli is famous for its vast herds of elephants and stunning views of Kilimanjaro on clear days. Enjoy a morning game drive before returning to the lodge for lunch. Afternoon transfer to Nairobi airport for your international flight. (Add a few nights and stay on the Kenya coast or Lamu Island).
