Day to Day Itinerary
Day 1
7 NIGHTS, FULL BOARD BASIS
Hop on a quick 2-hour flight from Johannesburg to Vilanculos. Meet your Dugong Beach Lodge representative who will transfer you by boat to the lodge. Cool off in an infinity swimming pool or lounge around on sun loungers or hammocks. Sit at the island-style bar with its martini seats whilst basking in the spectacular views of the ocean. A tasteful lounge offers a TV monitor and DVD player while the restaurant specializes in fresh seafood and local Portuguese cuisine. Sip a sundowner or dine under the gazebo at the end of the boardwalk jetty, Dugong Beach Lodge’s signature feature – and a great place to end the day.
Days 2 – 7
Spend your honeymoon relaxing at the lodge or choose from an array of ocean activities. The well-kitted marine sports centre offers diving, snorkelling, kayaking, fishing and traditional dhow cruises. For the more adventurous, take an island excursion to Bangue and Margaruque or try water skiing, windsurfing, parasailing and Hobie cat sailing. Your elegant honeymoon suite is air-conditioned with direct access to the powder white beach, with its own plunge pool and stunning outdoor shower with great views over the Indian Ocean from your deck.
Day 8
