The rooms are divided into 4 standard chalets, 3 premium chalets, 2 luxury villas as well as 2 family houses, all discretely set among the granite promontory. All the rooms feature en-suite bathrooms with shower and sunken bathtubs. Private decks offer spectacular vistas and lead out onto the beach. One of the houses, the Mainja House has been designed as a honeymoon retreat with just 1 massive bedroom and a secluded location with a great view.
 
The dining and bar area of Kaya Mawa is positioned high up the hill, affording guests sweeping panoramas of the extensive Lake Malawi. Dinners can be served anywhere, on a beach, on a deck, on a platform or on the gazebo. Guests can lounge in hammocks or on the beach, ideal spots for relaxing and sun.
