Kwando Kwara Camp lies within the private 1,750km² Kwara Reserve, adjacent to the magnificent Moremi Game Reserve in northern Botswana. A true traditional Safari Camp, Kwara is shaded by large trees overlooking a seasonal lagoon.
The main area of the camp is split the dining room where communal meals take place, a lounge to relax after a long day out in the bush, play board games and read books, and a sandy fire area where stories can be swapped while enjoying some cocktails.
Kwara Camp’s eight en suite tented rooms are raised on wooden platforms with decks overlooking either the lagoon. The traditional Meru safari tents are furnished with comfy beds, quality linen and sufficient storage space.
Kwara Camp is located in an exclusive concession and offers a wide variety of activities. In addition to both day and night game drives the camp offers game walks and mokoro trips, as well as power boating and fishing. You can also visit the heronry, a nesting site for a variety of birds such as sacred ibis, marabou stork, egrets and yellow-billed stork is a must for keen birders.
