You start your long 23-day safari adventure in the extraordinary Okavango Delta. You fly directly from Johannesburg to Maun, safari mecca and gateway to the Delta. Catch your 25-minute charter flight to Camp Moremi, a dreamy place nestling in the lush natural environment here where people are scarce and wildlife plentiful.

The best part about staying at Camp Moremi is that you are already in the stunning and famous Moremi Game Reserve, and you have immediate access to the wonderfully wild waterways of the Delta. Your second day takes you deeper into the magical Delta when you take your short 15-minute charter to Xugana Island Lodge. You may have to take a boat if the waters are high, and then it is an hour of scenic cruising through pristine natural habitats.

This island called Xugana is all about the water experience – you can enjoy many silent mokoro journeys through the channels full of life and the water is always there at this camp. Go birding or in search of the smaller creatures on a scintillating guided bush walk. Getting back to nature is what Xugana is all about…enjoy it!

Namibia is huge! You will drive up the Skeleton Coast now as you leave Swakopmund, for nearly 100km before you turn inland towards Damaraland. This rocky landscape is home to some extraordinary creatures including desert-adapted elephants and rhino, oryx, springbok, ostriches and many birds.

With wildife musts come culture and when you enjoy another 2 nights at Mowani, you will learn more about your ancestors when you explore the amazing Twyfelfontein Bushman paintings, Burnt Mountain and The Organ Pipes. Make the most of photographic opportunities wherever you go, especially on scenic sundowner drives and wonderful walks through the rocky hills and savannas.

Get ready for some mind-blowing game viewing at the famous Etosha National Park, not so far away this time. Spend two nights in plush chalets game viewing for hours beside a floodlit waterhole.

Seeing so many nocturnal animals and their interactions is better than any movie or documentary! Take the scenic route halfway back to Windhoek,, stopping en route at Frans Indongo Lodge in the Waterberg area of central Namibia.

You will also love the Okonjima Plains Camp in the Omboroko Mountains, also part of the Waterberg Plateau. The main attraction at the lodge are the leopard and cheetah resident on the farm. Okonjima is home to the AfriCat Foundation which is dedicated to preserving the big cats of Namibia. These 2 species are considered especially important to conserve at Okonjima. And seeing them up close is something you will never forget.
