Naboisho Camp Overview
Naibosho Camp is a seasonal camp situated in the 50,000 acre Naibosho Conservancy which is situated in Narok South district within the Great Rift Valley. The conservancy flanks the Masai Mara Game Reserve to the north and the Olare-Motorogi Conservancy to the east and is 260 km away from Nairobi, Kenya.
Naboisho means “coming together” in Maasai, and there is no better word to give this game rich wilderness area. The conservancy is a community driven initiative to create a wildlife conservation and tourism area that supports the livelihoods of the landowners and surrounding communities.
Naboisho Camp offers 8 large tented rooms that will appeal to discerning travelers looking for a little luxury. 7 of the tents are identical while the other is larger and more suited for families. Each stylish guest tent features a front veranda complete with a day bed and is equipped with an en suite bathroom with inside and outside safari shower.
The public areas of this safari camp in Masai Mara are incorporated in a large structure built from stone. Here you will discover the lounge, dining and bar areas. Laundry service is offered on a daily basis.
Naboisho Camp is superbly located to experience every aspect of the bushveld and offers the whole gamut of activities available in the Mara. Guests can enjoy game drives, guided nature walks, off-road tours, fly-camping and bush picnics. Hot air ballooning can be arranged to allow guests a bird’s eye view of the Masai plains and its wealth in wildlife.
