Situated in northern Kenya, on the edge of the Laikipia Plateau, on a 5000 acre ranch and game sanctuary, Ol Malo Lodge is a picture of tranquility and exceptional beauty. This stunning lodge in the Central Highlands is nestled into a rugged escarpment on the banks of the UasoNyiro River with commanding vistas across the long-standing lands of Kenya’s northern frontier district.
 
Ol Malo Lodge is set in an area teeming with wildlife which include Lion, Cheetah, Gerenuk, Thompson’s gazelle, Elephant, Wild dog,  Grevy and Burchell Zebra, Leopard, Giraffe among other game species. A real birder’s paradise, there are over 280 birds found in the area. And the location overlooking a watering hole ensures you all-day game viewing in the comfort of your room.
 
Constructed from stone, olive wood, thatch and other local materials and set among the natural curves of the rocky hillside, your Kenya accommodation will be in 1 of 4 well-appointed chalets or in the sole-use 3-Bedroomed Ol Malo House. The chalets are individually festooned and feature double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, sitting area, large glass windows as well as private terraces. Each chalets recedes into the rock face, creating a cave-like ambiance and giving the rooms naturally cool temperatures.
 
The 3-bed Ol Malo House makes for an ideal choice for large families or groups travelling together as it can accommodate up to 12 guests comfortably. This superb house in the bush has a large sitting and dining room with open fireplaces surrounded by 3 en-suite double bedrooms. Adjacent cottages create 3 further bedrooms.
