The Zambezi Queen is moveable accommodation on board a large boat based in the Chobe River. Take a Luxury African River Safari alongside Botswana’s Chobe National Park and see awe-inspiring herds of elephant coming down to drink or baboons playing in the trees.
A Botswana Safari on the great Chobe River by boat is amazing! This watery boundary between Chobe National Park and Namibia’s Caprivi Strip is made for a cruise on board the Zambezi Queen! It docks only a few kilometres from the point where four African countries meet: Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
It is based very close to Kasane International Airport which makes the boat a convenient addition to trips to Botswana’s Okavango Delta, Namibia’s Caprivi Strip or Zambia and Zimbabwe’s Victoria Falls. The Zambezi Queen offers very atypical Botswana Accommodation in an elegant manner.
Staff on board the Zambezi Queen are flexible and activities vary daily to suit all visitors. Usually, the two-night cruise leaves on a Monday and Wednesday and guests are treated to a morning game drive in Chobe National Park and an afternoon or sun downer boat cruise.
On a three-night cruise, guests may also have the chance to visit a local village and even the school if the trip falls during the week. Keen fishermen can throw a line for tiger fish on a catch-and-release basis or birdwatchers can enjoy a cruise in a tender boat to see diverse species on water and land.
