Zambia and Malawi Family Holiday

Day 1

On arrival at Livingstone International Airport, a representative from Stanley Safaris will meet and transfer you to the lodge (20 mins), where you will settle into your accommodation.

Depending on your arrival time in the day you will enjoy lunch or if in the afternoon for tea and the afternoon and night game drive.

Day 2 - 3

Depending on the children’s ages there is a whole range of activities available to them including game drives, nature walks where they can learn about animal spoor and droppings, star gazing and even a children’s pack with crosswords and dot to dots to make learning about the bush funnier. Early mornings aren’t suited to all children and if they wish to stay behind and have a lie-in whilst mum and dad enjoy a quiet game drive the two of this is no problem at all. 

Day 4

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Livingstone Airport where you catch your flight to Lusaka. In Lusaka, you will be met by a Robin’s House representative who will take you to Mfuwe Airport. From Mfuwe Airport it is a 40-minute road transfer to the house through colorful village life and some game
viewing area as well. After refreshments, you will go on an afternoon game drive.

Day 5 - 6

Full day at leisure. You will go on 2 game drives, walking safaris, seasonal boating (approximately December – April), or go on cultural visits.

Day 7

After breakfast, you will be taken back to the Mfuwe Airport where there is a 1 hour charter flight to Lilongwe where you will clear immigration and continue on a 3-hour road transfer or 40-minute flight depending on your liking. On arrival in Lilongwe, you will be transferred to the lodge by RPS representatives. Enjoy your refreshments and goo on a game drive and the children will go on the speed boats.

Day 8 - 10

You have full days of leisure and fun for the whole family. There is not one minute for boredom, the children will go out on the speed boats, tubing, learning to water ski or simply wander around the property with one of the guides showing them the many birds and fantastically coloured skinks and games while you enjoy the game drives and walking safaris.

Day 11

Room: Breakfast

After breakfast, you will depart the lodge and you will be taken to Lusaka Airport for your onward flight.
