Upon arrival at Victoria Falls International Airport, you’ll be met by a local representative and transferred to your hotel. Journey time about 20 minutes. After checking into your room, the rest of the afternoon is free to explore this natural wonder of the world.
A free day to explore the sights and sounds of Victoria Falls. Excursions can be arranged through the hotel’s front desk or by booking directly. Excursions range from guided tours of the Falls to scenic helicopter flights ranging from 15 – 30 minutes. For the more adventurous, white river rafting and bungee jumping activities exist. A popular evening activity is the African Queen river cruise for sundowners and game spotting.
Activities For The Day
After breakfast, you’ll be met by a local representative who will transfer you to Victoria Falls airport. Here you’ll meet your pilot for the 45-minute flight to Hwange National Park. Upon arrival, your guide from Somalisa Camp will transfer you by road to the camp. A welcome drink awaits and perhaps a chance encounter with the elephants who are often hanging around the main camp reception. Your afternoon activity awaits after freshening up.

Full day on safari.
After breakfast and final farewells, your guide will transfer you back to the airstrip. Here you’ll meet your pilot for the 2-hour flight to Mana Pools National Park. An opportunity exists here to view the man-made Lake Kariba from the skies. Upon arrival, your guide from the camp will collect you. Freshen up in your room before meeting for afternoon tea with your fellow guest and the evening activity. A sumptuous dinner awaits your return.
On safari. Here’s your chance to canoe on the mighty Zambezi River. Mana Pools is also well renowned for being a great walking safari destination. Relax under the shade during the midday siesta with a good book between activities.

On your last day in the country, your guide will transfer you back to the airstrip to be met by your pilot. From here it’s a 1.5-hour flight to Harare Airport in time for your onwards international flight. Memories made in this dawning African safari destination.
