Acacia House Overview
Acacia House (Mara Bush Houses) sits at the foot of Kipileo Hill in the Ol Chorro Losoit valley within the 70,000 acre Mara North Conservancy area. The Maasai Mara National Reserve is situated in the southwest part of Kenya, bordering the Serengeti National Park of Tanzania. This Big 5 wildlife reserve is located just 5 hours’ drive away from Nairobi.
Guests can enjoy fantastic game viewing opportunities and cultural insights in tranquil settings while being served by friendly staff.
Two airy bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a delightful attic space created specifically for younger guests, as well as a third bathroom make up the accommodation at this safari lodge in the Masai Mara. The rooms are large, private and comfortably furnished, exuding a home away from home atmosphere that lingers with guests long after their departure.
The living areas dominate this stunning Kenya safari lodge with an open plan dining and lounge complete with a fireplace to keep warm during the evening chill. The house also features a ‘den’ with a TV. The veranda overlooks the famed Ol Chorro waterhole that is frequented by different game species and birds. The barbecue provides an ideal place to hang out and relax while indulging in alfresco dining.
Most safari excursions are in the Mara North Conservancy area where there is usually plenty of resident game but longer game driving within the Mara game reserve itself can be arranged at minimal additional cost. Bush walks, sundowners and cultural and village tours are amongst the activities offered at Acacia House.
