Voyage to Africa helped us with the planning of our honeymoon right from brainstorming on potential places to go, to the very last detail of booking the flights, and accommodation and ensuring that we had a tailor-made experience for honeymooners. We had an amazing time at Massinga Beach Lodge in Mozambique, a truly remarkable place, a private beach with ocean-view apartments and a fine dining experience. It was a smooth trip and we send our heartfelt gratitude to Rushaan who was the agent that we worked with.
Very happy with our stay at the V&A Hotel Cape Town. The room was so roomy… and so stylish. Just what we needed after a few hiccups in Zimbabwe. The hotel is in a fab marina area that seems so buzzy with people, things to do, we loved it all. Our breakfast was part of our rate and we could never finish the divine choices we ordered, so quality. It made Cape Town seem even better.
The Strand Hotel is a resort with a very quaint feel to it, a bit of history too and a sense of timelessness too. We loved the decor though and really wanted to stay a bit longer. My husband was so impressed with the Butcher meat restaurant and its amazing craft beers with ocean views. We sat there every evening. They have three restaurants and my favourite was the Farmhouse Deli also with Atlantic views and so airy and sunny. We were on the way to the Sossuvlei so this was perfect for us. Thanks to Ivan and all his staff who served us so graciously!
We really enjoyed our 4 nights at Rhino Post Safari Lodge and loved the way the chalets were placed all along the river banks. At night we could hear the baboons playing with each other in the trees and during the day we could see elephants wandering past to have a drink. Our excellent guides were James and Vusi and they showed us all their favourite spots for wildlife and birds. All staff go above the call of duty to make your trip special and we found it hard to leave! We want to go back soon…
We saw so much game when we stayed in this Kenyan camp and our driver and guide Steve was awesome as he explained the animals to us and why they were doing what they were doing and which families they belonged to even. He knew so much about the trees! He was so clever to find us lions hunting the whole time! We also saw elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, leopards, hippos, hyenas, and even black rhinos.
