The Jabulani Elephant Experience affords Jabulani guests the opportunity to meet and spend time with the herd in Kapama Private Game Reserve in Limpopo Province. Meet the elephant carers who have spent the past 20 years bonding with the elephants and keeping them safe. 

It all started in 1997 when the first elephant calf was rescued, rehabilitated and returned to the wild herd. Then a herd of orphaned elephants was rescued in Zimbabwe in 2002, and so it continued until the formation of the HERD (Hoedspruit Elephant Rehabilitation and Development) today.
