Chongwe Suites offer exclusive luxury and privacy in the Lower Zambezi National Park

The Lower Zambezi National Park is one of those favourite wildlife destinations in Africa, easily accessible from private airstrips and boat rides on the Zambezi River where places like Time + Tide Chongwe Suites offer idyllic safari accommodation for all wilderness enthusiasts. Voyage2Africa recommends Time + Tide Chongwe Suites nestling in a small corner of paradise where the Chongwe River flows into the Zambezi.

Find the intimate camp offering only two small suites hiding snugly beneath the ancient winterthorn trees that thrive here. Cassia Suite is ideal for honeymoon couples while Albida Suite offers enough space for two adults and two children, or 4 adults in complete and elegant privacy. These suites can be sold separately or as part of the Chongwe River Camp as they are completely in their own bit of the wilderness and are treated as separate entities for those who like ultimate personal service in their game-viewing escapades in Zambia.

The two Time + Tide Chongwe Suites can be found between the Chiawa Game Management Area and the Lower Zambezi National Park region and game drives on boats go into the park. It’s only a one-hour boat ride from Jeki airstrip then a 20-minute game drive to the suites.

Voyage2Africa recommends the gorgeous Albida Suite for families or friends travelling together who want privacy and who appreciate the two bedrooms with ensuite showers, fans, tea and coffee facilities and minibars. Cassia Suite on the other hand boasts a lavish ensuite bedroom, a fan, minibar and tea and coffee-making facilities.

Guests can choose to dine separately in their own suites or to venture out to the main lodge to join others around the fire for meals or under the trees during the day. Ask Voyage2Africa to customise your holiday package to this Lower Zambezi National Park private safari venue and we will do everything to ensure your adventure goes smoothly.

Overview

The two luxurious Chongwe Suites are part of Chongwe River Camp but also entirely separate in their own private area so can be sold as private units. The suites are named after the Cassia tree and the Albidia growing in this region, the splendid Lower Zambezi National Park, dedicated to conservation and community empowerment.

Honeymoon couples will love the one-bedroomed Cassia Suite for its complete privacy for just two people in a lavish setting – a double bed, ensuite bathroom, fans, minibar and tea and coffee ensure your comfort.

Families can book the amazing two-bedroom, two-bathroom Albida Suite for four guests with en-suite open air bathrooms featuring a classic bath, a canopied lounge and dining area, a private plunge pool with river views and a wonderful atmospheric fire pit for dinners served by the private butler.

Guests can choose to eat alone or join the main camp meals on the riverbank and enjoy fine dining and wining to the sounds of owls and leopards all night.
