Santorini Mozambique

The gorgeous little coastal town of Vilanculos is the gateway to the Bazaruto Archipelago National Park and is the hub of luxury and authentic accommodation in Mozambique. Just twenty minutes by car and north of the international airport lies Santorini Mozambique. Overview

The Santa Caroline Suite is named after the island also known as Paradise Island. It is the largest and most lavish of Santorini’s suites boasting a king size bed with fine white linen,  billowing mosquito netting, its own lounge, stylish bathroom and huge shower. But it is the views that extend across Kingfisher bay that make this suite so special as well as its privacy as it’s the only one on the first floor with its own private staircase access.

The Banque, Benguerra, Magaruque and Bazaruto suites all face the islands that they are named after.  They feature comfy and gorgeous king size beds, en-suite bathroom with shower and double vanity unit, a separate toilet, Charlotte Rhys amenities, Kikoi bathrobe, beach sarong and bag to use whilst in residence, air-conditioning, wifi an Ipod docking station and all have private patios featuring sun loungers with views across the bay.

The Chapel is a private exclusive use villa, perfect for romantic honeymoons in Mozambique or family friendly accommodation. The name comes from the stylish dome ceiling and the old wooden church doors of the main entrance to this beautiful villa. 2 spacious suites feature King size beds, luxury linen and huge bathrooms. The outside living space has a shady patio with its own BBQ perfect for the chef to whip you up some grilled prawns to snack on and the guest bar is stocked with ice cold frosty beverages. The rim flow pool faces the islands of the Bazaruto Archipelago.

Vegetables and herbs are picked fresh from the properties own garden and talented chefs produce 3 and 4 courses all served in a variety of surprises and different locations. As you would imagine the freshest Mozambique seafood takes centre stage with freshly caught and grilled giant prawns, tuna steaks or sushi, lula (squid)and line fish all prepared with love and passion. Simpler tapas style food and more casual lunches are also on offer as well as the Santorini famous thin crust pizza and BBQ’s not to mention the help yourself home-made range of fresh ice-cream on offer all day which complements the famous home- made chocolate fondant that is a winner with guests.
