Sayari Camp is a plush permanent camp that provides remote and exclusive tented accommodation in the northern Serengeti National Park, Tanzania. Set just across the border from Kenya’s Masai Mara, and a stone’s throw from the famed Mara River, the fabulous camp is ideally situated to provide a platform from where the migratory herds can be observed.
The camp overlooks the Serengeti plains, home to staggering wildlife, great numbers of big cats, giraffe, elephant and buck and an increasing population of rhino. During the Migration season, millions of wildebeest and zebra arrive to share the fertile land with the permanent inhabitants. The combination of a superb location, luxurious facilities and an incredible wildlife experience ensures that Sayari Camp will etch itself into your memory as the standard against which you will forever judge any other safari camp.
There are 15 tents in the camp divided into 2 wings, 1 with 9 tents and the other with 6. The tents are expertly designed to allow the breeze in during the heat of the day. The tents feature en-suite bathrooms, with spacious showers and egg-shaped baths large enough for two, offering extraordinary views of the vast endless plains of the Serengeti. Children under 5years are not allowed unless the camp is booked exclusively.
The 2 wings of Sayari Camp have their own public facilities comprising a lounge and dining area, with a central rim flow swimming pool connecting the two. Every facet of the camp overlooks the pristine landscape of the Serengeti, providing unsurpassed wildlife and wilderness views.
