The best part of any safari in Hwange is the game drives and here, family-friendly guides are passionate about showing kids and parents everything there is to know about wildlife and habitats in protected areas. Mind-blowing bush safaris highlight the birds, and the biodiversity of the region, in the Somalisa private concession and in Hwange itself.
The tented suites at Somalisa Acacia Camp include a small wood fire for wintry nights, fans for hot days, indoor and outdoor showers, and deep copper bathtubs with views of the vegetation beyond. Chat around the bar later with other families, read a book on the sun deck and gather for delicious meals made alfresco to keep on game viewing and delighting in the sensory explosion around you.
