Somalisa Expeditions hides unobtrusively in a grove of acacia trees and comprises only 6 Meru-styled tents on wooden decks with en suite bathrooms and gorgeous lush outlooks. So ingeniously designed is this traditional safari camp that guests blend into the surrounds and sometimes imagine they are in a Kenya Serengeti camp with vintage décor and amenities! 

But no, this is very real hearty Zimbabwe bushveld, this is Hwange National Park and this is the place of the elephant, very much so. Elephants visit the pool often to quench their thirst, feeling comfortable around the camp and the visitors who are here to learn and enjoy, not threaten any animals.
