Serena Sweetwaters offers tented luxury on a private reserve

Sweetwaters Serena Camp safari packages in Ol Pejeta and Laikipia Plains. Now you too can explore the beauty of Kenya if you choose Serena Sweetwaters Camp in Nanyuki, a rustic but chic camp that offers tented luxury on a private game reserve perfectly located on the Laikipia plans 17 km from Nanyuki and some 220 km from Nairobi.

Serena Sweetwaters lies in the middle of the private 110,000-acre Ol Pejeta Conservancy in the stunning foothills of the Aberdares and the charismatic snowy white peaks of Mount Kilimanjaro. It’s an important habitat for endangered black and white rhinos, elephants, buffalo, lion, leopards as well as the rare Grevy’s zebra and Jackson’s hartebeest. Not only does the conservancy boast one of the densest wildlife populations in Kenya but so too does it harbour a sanctuary for chimpanzees and black rhino so is one of a kind.

Guest at Sweetwaters camp love this conservancy and the many attractions at Serena Sweetwaters Camp where the grand total of 56 elegant canvas rooms comprise the standard wing and the more luxury Morani Wing. All tented suites are thatched with solid wooden floors and private decks.

The best part of Sweetwaters Serena Camp are the views over the waterhole and guests can then get a drink at the Waterhole Bar, reminiscent of a game viewing hide where you can sit all day and simply watch birds and animals come and go. Jump into the cooling swimming pool to cool off after a unique camel trek through the Kenyan wilderness.

Voyage2Africa recommends this safari oasis in one of our favourite wildlife destinations in all of Kenya so chat to us about our package tours.
