Day to Day Itinerary
Day 1
1 NIGHT, HALF BOARD BASIS
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, and meet a local team member who drives you to Arusha Coffee Lodge, beneath the towering peaks of Mount Meru and Kilimanjaro. Experience a fascinating coffee tour in the lush coffee plantations and see how coffee is made from bean to beverage! Your plantation suite at andBeyond Arusha Coffee Lodge boasts a split-level lounge, romantic four-poster bed, fans, minibar and private deck with views of the ripe coffee bushes.
Days 2 – 3
2 NIGHT STAY, FULL BOARD BASIS
Catch your transfer to Arusha Airport for your scheduled flight to the Manyara Airstrip for a game drive en-route to the lodge. Relax in the dazzling swimming pool, enjoy the Treetop walkway and book a Healing Earth Wellness Treatment in your room or in the massage sala. Take an evening drive from Treetops Manyara, sip sundowners at the lake, and then embark on an exhilarating game drive to find the famous, unusual tree-climbing lions and the rich elephant herds.
Days 4 – 5
2 NIGHT STAY, FULL BOARD BASIS
Take a scenic drive to the Manyara airstrip on the escarpment where your local Ngorongoro Crater Lodge representative will drive you to your next lodgings. Mind-blowing views of the phenomenal crater and the wildlife below on the vast crater floor. Enjoy game drives to the crater, black rhinos, giant-tusked elephants, big-maned lions and bright pink flamingos.
Days 6 – 8
Take a game drive back to the Manyara Airstrip, for your scheduled flight to your chosen camp in the Serengeti – either &Beyond Serengeti Under Canvas, Klein’s Camp or Serengeti River Lodge. Serengeti means “endless plains” in the Maasai language, indeed to one of the world’s most celebrated African wilderness areas.
Day 9
Depart the Serengeti National Park for Arusha and your next flight.
Your superb 8-night Tanzanian safari experience comes to an end. Enjoy an early morning game drive in Serengeti and a tantalising breakfast before your transfer back to the airstrip. We wave a fond farewell as you board your scheduled flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight onward.
