The accommodation at Bahia Mar is varied. Two separate top floor suites make up the Sea View Bedrooms which have stunning ocean views and are great for couples. Down stairs are the more spacious suites called the Beach Luxury Suites which have their own little plunge pools and a comfy lounge area. You can also combine the entire 3 units (2 sea view rooms and one luxury suite below and you get a duplex with your own pool and lots of space, perfect for a family holiday to Vilanculos. All the accommodation is air conditioned and stylishly furnished with a contemporary meets natural beach style.
There are also Garden Suites which as the name suggests are set in the tropical gardens with their own little veranda, offering a cheaper alternative. The Presidential Suite is perfect for romantics or those looking for some privacy and lastly the Beach Villa is a self-contained beach house set right on the beach, with its own private pool, stylish accommodation and complement of staff to look after your every need.
One of the most popular activities is a day trip into the Bazaruto Archipelago. Join experienced skipper and crew aboard Bahai Mars luxurious speed boat ‘Mothassane’ which will whisk you across the bay to discover the huge dunes of Bazaruto, the abandoned hotel of Santa Carolina (Paradise Island) or the white sands of Benguerra. Here you can snorkel the world-famous Two Mile Reef, try to spot the elusive dugongs, with abundant sightings of dolphins and even humpback whales and enjoy a sumptuous seafood lunch on a sand bank.
