Baines River Camp Overview
Baines River Camp is positioned amid Tamarind and Jackleberry trees just outside the Lower Zambezi National Park, in the midst of the untouched African bush on the northern banks of the Zambezi River, directly opposite Zimbabwe’s Mana Pools Heritage Site. It is a luxurious and intimate Lower Zambezi safari camp set in a pristine wilderness area teeming with wildlife. The camp offers great Zambia holiday packages with enthralling safari excursions.
Baines River Camp is a true colonial-style Lower Zambezi lodge named after the famous artist and explorer, boasting elegant accommodation in 8 luxury suites. The suites feature classical fabrics, natural hardwood timbers and leather. Amenities in each room include a complimentary mini-bar, air conditioning, walk-in showers and a ceiling fan. Two of the suites feature an additional outdoor shower.
An ideal Zambia safari holiday destination, Baines Camp exudes an aura exuberance, relaxation and superfluity. Pamper yourself with a massage or beauty treatment in the privacy of your suite, or alternatively, select a book from the library and relax on the pool-side or veranda. Lower Zambezi safaris available comprise safari game drives, canoeing; boat trips and fishing clinics are on offer.
There are no set meal times. Breakfast, brunches and lunches are prepared and served to suit your activities and preferences. Delectable snacks and picnic meals can be prepared and packed for you early in the morning. There is an option to dine with other guests on the veranda, under the stars or if you prefer, dinner can be served in the intimacy of your own private veranda.
