It was my dream destination and when my husband booked us a week away at Chiawa Camp in the Lower Zambezi Valley, I was in seventh heaven. the Cumings family has been operating here for decades so we were part of a very slick, very eco-conscious set-up. The bush walks were the best part of my day, getting out into the park and seeing animal tracks, birds, insects and huge old trees. We established a genuine rapport with our game ranger and tracker! The leopard sighting at dusk just near the river was amazing too! Five-star food and a tent with an outside bathtub!
