Built on three levels, the main areas are designed under peaked thatched roofs reflecting the Sossusvlei dunes outside. White washed wooden floors, diverse use of textures and colours, contrasting with the browns and reds of the desert outside and the green of the camelthorns growing thickly nearby.

The open plan building is curved for relaxation while large mirrors placed strategically create the illusion of even more space. Enjoy the tea room, the bar and many seating areas along curved stone walls – the lounge steps out onto a partly covered thatched deck some of which wind around camel thorn trees. Sample a romantic meal for two in the wine cellar in amongst lines of fine wines and champagne bottles.

Relax in the library where scatter cushions and local baskets adorn the floors. The small egg-shaped pool is great for cooling off in and guests can enjoy dinners on the shaded deck beside the pool.
Set off on exciting game drives in the early mornings to hopefully see bat-eared foxes, black-backed jackals, elusive aardwolfs, gemsbok and springbok. Drive to Sossusvlei and Sesriem Canyon or set off through the gate into the Namib-Naukluft National Park. Nature walks and trails are fantastic but hot! Early morning balloon excursions can also be arranged.
