With its unique location on the beautiful Talek River and undulating views over the renowned Mara plains, Tipilikwana is luxury defined in the heart of a wilderness we all dream of visiting one day. Game drives are the main focus here, of course, but Voyage2Africa loves this Masai Mara safari camp for its dedication to a full-service spa complete with massages, body treatments, facials and more. Enjoy free Wi-Fi and a private butler when you need him, room service all day and complete solitude in your lavish suite.
Meet your fellow guests around the bar or on a comfy sofa in the plush lounge with its sunny deck for 24-hour game viewing and serenity in nature. Stay in 20 delightful guest rooms complete with ensuite bathtubs and showers, private patios and laundry services. You are staying in a Masai Mara tented camp dedicated to your health and wellness while you are on a wildlife safari of a lifetime so you get the best of both worlds and world-class service to boot.
Tipilikwana is a mere 40 km from Tanzania’s famous Serengeti National Park, the heart of the annual Great Migration. Make sure you book your fantasy Masai Mara game viewing holiday during the spring when the animals are on the move in their thousands, predators hiding in wait, rains on the way, rivers bursting with life.
There’s a big steel bridge crossing to the main lodge and Masai tribesmen walk guests to their tents and back as hyenas call and baboons sleep in the trees nearby. Sunrise over the Masai Mara is unforgettable – the green plains and the mountains turning a multitude of hues, wow! Walk around the camp to see the camp garden where organic vegetables enhance meals and feed staff too. Enjoy the hippo pool and look out for cheetahs drinking here at dusk. Voyage2Africa brings you back to Africa anytime on wonderful tours to Kenya and Tanzania combined so book yours today.
Situated on the banks of the scenic Talek River, Tipilikwana Mara Camp is the ideal safari destination for continual game viewing from all angles – from your bed, your private deck, the lounge area and from a vehicle twice a day. Voyage2Africa recommends life-changing bush walks with passionate guides who grew up in this region and who share their knowledge about biodiversity and human reliance on natural resources.
Crocs, hippos, antelope galore, baboons and a wealth of birds ensure that your camp experience is only of the best safari quality. The cherry on the top is the deluxe accommodation in tented chalets along the river banks, and a chance to be a part of the annual Great Migration in all of its captivating thrills and spills, bringing home the harshness of survival in the African wilderness.
Tipilikwana Mara Camp only provides 20 luxury tents with private patios, ensuite bathrooms and plenty of comfy seating space. Canvas walls blend with wooden poles and thatched roofs while the mud and stone walls are enhanced with colourful rugs and ethnic touches. There is even Wi-Fi for guests who cannot go without it while families are welcome too in two family sites with bathtubs and showers. Wander up to the main guest area to enjoy a drink at the bar, a book in the lounge and fun stories from your guides around a blazing boma fire.

We saw so much game when we stayed in this Kenyan camp and our driver and guide Steve was awesome as he explained the animals to us and why they were doing what they were doing and which families they belonged to even. He knew so much about the trees! He was so clever to find us lions hunting the whole time! We also saw elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, leopards, hippos, hyenas, and even black rhinos.
