Day 1
2 NIGHTS, SHAMWARI WALKING SAFARI
Upon arrival at Port Elizabeth airport, you will be greeted by your Shamwari game ranger for the start of your Eastern Cape Adventure Following a comprehensive orientation of the Explorers Camp Shamwari, you will be treated to a delicious, freshly prepared lunch. Shortly thereafter embark on an your fist walk and captivating afternoon guided trail. Shamwari, meaning “my friend” in Shona, represents the pinnacle of private game reserves in the Eastern Cape, offering guests an opportunity to coexist harmoniously with nature and witness wildlife roaming freely.
You will enjoy restful nights in a simple yet rustic tent, complete with all necessary amenities to ensure your safety and comfort throughout your stay. Discover Shamwari Private Game Reserve with this unique and authentic safari and bush camp.
Day 2
Awaken with the sun as nature comes alive and set off on a guided walking safari of 4 hours through the Eastern Cape Bush. Experience the thrill of tracking big five game and getting right up close and personal with the wildlife of Shamwari Reserve. under the leadership of an expert guide. On your return to Explorers Camp relax in your hammock or chill beside the plunge pool before setting off on another afternoon guided walk. Stop at sunset for sundowner snacks and drinks in the bush. Then a well-deserved dinner after a day in the bush. Sit around the blazing fire under glorious night skies as part of this unforgettable wilderness experience.
Day 3
Expect an early rise on day three for your last short game walk and final breakfast in the bush. Depart at 10h00 for your your road transfer from Shamwari Reserve to Port Elizabeth Airport. The end of a great walking safri in the Eastern Cape.
