Awaken to the birds in the acacia grove and the sound of water trickling from the mountain spring. A dawn game drive sets the pace where you seek out the plains game and their attendant predators, prides of lions, cheetahs and maybe a shy leopard too. Amboseli National Park To Lake Nakuru National Park

Day 3

Enjoy a fresh breakfast and drive via Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park, exploring the stupendous sights of the Great Rift Valley along the way, the gorgeous Mount Longonot in the distance and Lake Naivasha glimmering blue with its flower farms and 400 bird species. Arrive at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge for lunch then take a delightful drive around Lake Nakuru, gasping at the mind-blowing sight of millions of flamingos wading in the shallows. Check out the primaeval endangered black rhino in the park’s rhino sanctuary. Dinner and bed, to the sound of nature.

Look out for numerous big cat predators and extra-long and thick pythons! Find refuge later in your luxury suite at Sarova Lion Hill lodge, with its luxury bathrooms, beds, private decks and access to the huge restaurant and swimming pool too.
