We have a number of great holiday deals to this gem bordering the south-west flank of the Kruger National Park. Sabi Sands is absolutely spectacular and with included morning and evening game drives you will get to experience the real African bush with a very good chance of seeing all of the Big Five during your stay. Regarded as one of the best Africa safari destinations to see lion and leopard, you will not be disappointed with the game viewing.
Each of our individually designed safari packages to Sabi Sands takes into account our clients’ needs and preferences and usually includes other Southern Africa highlights. Our most popular action-packed adventure starts in iconic Cape Town with days exploring the Cape Winelands and all that the cosmopolitan mother city has to offer. You then take a regional flight up to Kruger Park and do a light air private or scheduled transfer into the lodge of your choice. After three or four days incredible game viewing you are off once again to the majestic Victoria Falls on the Zimbabwe or Zambian side of the mighty Zambezi. There is no better Southern Africa safari itinerary and if time permits add on the Okavango Delta or the islands and beaches of Mozambique.
Voyage2Africa is a Mozambique travel specialist and no one offers the service and options we have put together on bespoke Bush and Beach safaris that usually include the pristine Bazaruto Archipelago. It’s a great way to chill and regroup at the end of your safari, and so much less developed than the Kenya coast or the islands of Zanzibar.
Sabi is easy to get to with numerous transfer options! Most of our clients travelling to Sabi Sands are going there as part of a package itinerary that includes other highlights in South Africa and surrounding attractions in Southern Africa. Try and allocate at least three nights in the reserve. This will give you two full days of game drives and activities. Any shorter time really doesn’t do the reserve justice and it costs a fair deal to get there. So find the time and kick back and relax as you enjoy some of the best game viewing and camp accommodation in Africa. There are a number of ways to get there and most guests join a scheduled daily flight or private charter to one of the three airstrips in Sabi Sands Reserve.
There are also daily flights to KMIA Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport which is near Nelspruit. Other options include Skukuza (Southern Sabi Camps) and Hoedspruit (Northern Lodges) Airports with road transfers onto your luxury game lodge in Sabi from these airports respectively. Should you decide to self-drive to the reserve as part of a longer itinerary, road access is good and no four-wheel drive is required to get you to the lodges.
Our expert travel consultants will be able to advise you on the best options based on your choice of Sabi itinerary and the lodges involved.
