Day to Day Itinerary
Day 1
3 NIGHTS ON A FULL BOARD BASIS
Start your self-drive holiday from Johannesburg, via Nelspruit on the N4, entering Kruger National Park through the Malalane Gate. Please ensure you arrive between 12h00 and 15h00 at the lodge. Settle in and join fellow guests for afternoon tea and meet your game ranger and guide. Depart on an exhilarating sundowner game drive before returning to a delicious dinner. Morning and evening game drives and bush walks focus on indigenous plants and trees, animals and birds.
Days 2 – 3
Full days on safari at an eco-conscious safari lodge in a special Kruger concession with a passion for the environment and wildlife. Elevated classic suites offer baths and showers, decks and lounges, and you get to enjoy daily game drives, nature walks, delicious food and picturesque surroundings. Cool off in the swimming pool while elephants take a quiet drink at the pools nearby. Tuck into fireside dinners featuring delicious South African dishes in the traditional boma.
Day 4
A final breakfast, then time to depart on the second amazing half of your journey with a drive to Mozambique via Komatipoort and on to Maputo. Head to Inhambane and then on to Massinga Beach Lodge. Couples love the 16 luxurious Ocean Front rooms with private decks, plunge pools, deep free-standing bathtubs and panoramic views of the bay. Days 5 – 7
Two full days to feel free to relax and unwind at the lodge. Take a golf cart to the beach bar and wonderful swimming pool down on the beach or walk along sugary sands for miles for a glorious beach picnic. Swim in calm seas, kayak out across the bay, bodyboard or snorkel. Quad bike rides, a sea safari from Bonita Bay to encounter dolphins, whale sharks, humpback whales and manta rays. Order fresh seafood in the restaurant and soak up pure tranquillity.
Day 8
