Day 1
1 NIGHT, FULL BOARD BASIS HEMINGWAYS HOTEL
Arrive in Nairobi and be met by your tour rep for the road transfer to Hemingways Hotel for a delectable dinner. Made for modern business and leisure travellers, Hemingways is a tribute to the writer and hunter himself, Ernest Hemingway. This chic boutique hotel has a Hollywood design to it as if you are entering a film set and about to star in a 1930s movie! Kick back and relax on your private terrace with its full views of the Ngong Hills.
Day 2
2 NIGHT STAY, FULL BOARD BASIS AMBOSELLI
Dine in style for breakfast at Hemingways Nairobi and await your private transfer to Wilson Airport to fly to Amboseli National Park. Land at Tortillas Camp Amboseli with its thatched main guest areas so typical of traditional safaris under the shady resident acacia trees. Swim all day in the shade of the palms in a refreshing swimming pool and tuck into nutritious bush breakfasts while out on game drives. Amboseli boasts more than 1000 elephants, robust predator populations and myriad birds, including flamingos in vast pink flocks.
Day 3
Spend the entire day out in Amboseli on game drives, bush walks and birding outings. Appreciate attentive spa treatments, and massages, and visit local Maasai homesteads where the Maasai live in semi-permanent huts known as Manyattas. Tortillas Camp Amboseli is intimate and “glamping” style tents have amazing hot showers and patios where dawn coffees and cookies delivered to your tent precede incredible game drives. Days 5 – 6
Start your day with an unforgettable wilderness walk from Loisaba Camp with traditional and passionate Samburu guides who have intricate knowledge about biodiversity. Return to camp at Laikipia for a welcoming fresh breakfast then swim in the pool, read a book, sip a cold beer on the deck or simply game view some more. Start the day with a fresh breakfast then game drive to Loisaba airstrip for the private charter to the Masai Mara’s Sand River Camp. Days 8 – 9
